Great theme tune.
I grew up with american tv, cars, comics, space race, music and skateboards.
But then that was the 1970s (and very late 60s) and I was too young to have been called up for Vietnam so I had the best of it like Americans my age.

It's been kind of downhill for being American since about 2008.

Anyway, Frank Cannon, Ironsides, Columbo, Starkey & Hutch, Hill St Blues, Hawaii 5 0, McCloud, Streets of San Fransico

Funny we never even had a TV after 1975 (why I never watched Roots) and I wasn't allowed to read comics, but somehow .. an interesting story about comics cut down to bare bones, a box full of Marvel comics that I found in the barn of the property my mother and step dad bought in 1981, .. I kept them where I founf them because 'comics were bad' ... ended up in a skip when I wasn't looking. Be worth a lot of money today all those comics. Never mind all the ones I bought myself in the early 70s. Gets out world's smallest fiddle/

Hard to say what my favourite theme tune was/is. Toss up between Hill st Blues and this one
